Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather that will make travel to or from church hazardous, the following actions may be taken:
(1) No Early Services. 10:15 Worship Service Only. There will be no Spiritual Growth Groups. The Worship Service will be held at 10:15 a.m.
(2) Closed. No services or church activities are to be held.
Inclement weather decisions will be reported in the following ways before 8 a.m.:
On our church voicemail. Call the church at 717-244-2585 to listen to the recording.
Via a church-wide email to all those who have provided us with their email.
On our church website at: www.redlionzion.com or on our church Facebook at: www.facebook.com/redlionzion
On the website & mobile app of WGAL. Please note, that it will not be featured on WGAL on TV.
Please note: If you do not hear from us, then our services are still being held. We will make a point to assess road conditions and send cancellations or changes before 8:00 a.m. However, should you feel concerned about driving, please stay home. Our services will be live on Facebook and then also put on the website and phone line by Wednesday so you can catch up during the week.
When meetings or activities are planned during the week, inclement policy claims that if Red Lion schools are closed due to weather, all activities/meetings are canceled.
